Grand Bend Speedway & Go Kart Centre
About Grand Bend Speedway & Go Kart Centre
Grand Bend Speedway & Go Kart Centre runs public outdoor karting on the paved stock-car oval at 70114D Grand Bend Line near Parkhill, rather than the indoor format previously shown. Current products separate Pro karts for drivers aged 13 or older from Junior and Double karts for families; each visit includes instruction, a driver meeting and about ten minutes of racing, with the slower family group never sharing the track with Pro karts. Summer access is normally first come and weather dependent, so the expanded guide explains the category rules, safety process, current hours and how groups can make arrangements directly.

Outdoor karting on a paved oval
Grand Bend Speedway & Go Kart Centre uses the quarter-mile stock-car oval for public concession karting. Staff provide training, a driver meeting and a pace lap before the timed racing portion begins.
Pro, Junior and Double karts
- Pro: drivers must be at least 13; the venue page says 5ft or 153cm while its ticket flow says 4ft 5in or 137cm, so confirm the live height rule.
- Junior: drivers can start at age five with a 4ft or 122cm minimum.
- Double: an adult can drive a slower two-seat kart with a young child passenger.
- Separate grids: Junior and Double karts never run at the same time as the faster Pro fleet.
Session and safety process
- Experience: allow about 20–25 minutes for training and a ten-minute race.
- Equipment: helmets and seatbelts are checked before the field follows the pace vehicle.
- Clothing: secure loose clothes and long hair and empty pockets before driving.
- Health: the operator warns against participation with conditions aggravated by motion or impact and does not recommend it during pregnancy.
