Detailed guide

The Track Layout

The circuit at Karting St-Alphonse is a driver's favorite because of its verticality.

  • The "Rollercoaster" Effect: Measuring nearly 900 meters, the track features significant uphill and downhill sections that add a 3D element to your race.
  • Technicality: With 9 meters of width and a mix of sweeping curves and tight hairpins, it provides plenty of passing opportunities.
  • Night Racing: The entire facility is fully illuminated, allowing for atmospheric racing long after the sun goes down—perfect for warm summer evenings.

The Karts

The venue maintains a fleet of Honda-powered Sodi karts tailored to different age groups.

  • Adult Karts (9HP): These are the flagship rentals for drivers 12 years+ (min height 57"). The 9HP engines provide aggressive acceleration to tackle the hills and reach high speeds on the straights.
  • Junior Karts (5.5HP): Designed for children aged 8 to 11 (min height 48"). These karts are perfectly balanced to be safe yet exciting for younger drivers learning the sport.
  • Double Karts: The ultimate family option. An adult can drive while a child as young as 3 years old rides as a passenger. This is one of the lowest age limits for passengers in the region, making it very toddler-friendly.

Facilities & Location

  • Terrace: A large viewing deck allows spectators to watch the entire track, making it easy to cheer on friends and family.
  • Snack Bar: On-site refreshments are available to keep you fueled.
  • Proximity: Its location makes it an ideal "second stop" for families visiting the Granby Zoo or Ski Bromont Water Park, turning a day trip into a full weekend of adventure.
