The crown jewel of the province is the Mosport Karting Centre at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Bowmanville). This is a professional-grade facility that hosts national championships. For the public, they offer a fleet of 4-stroke rental karts that run on a dedicated 1.5 km track with significant elevation changes, giving you a taste of the famous Mosport pedigree. Just north of Toronto, Goodwood Kartways (Uxbridge) stands as a historic landmark. Operating for over 60 years, it is the track where many Canadian racing stars cut their teeth. It remains a "pure" driver’s track, offering public rentals on a technical 10-turn road course that demands precision and momentum. For indoor racing, K1 Speed (formerly K1 Speed Toronto and Cambridge) dominates the landscape with locations in Downsview, Mississauga, Cambridge, and Vaughan. These facilities offer a consistent, high-speed electric experience with OTL Storm karts, perfect for corporate events and winter racing. In Niagara Falls, the Niagara Speedway at Clifton Hill offers a completely different vibe. It is North America’s largest elevated go-kart track, featuring a four-story spiral ramp and a "coaster-style" driving experience. While less about pure racing lines, it is a massive engineering marvel and a top tourist destination. The Ottawa Situation: For residents of the National Capital Region, the best indoor options are technically across the river in Gatineau, Quebec (like Top Karting). However, on the Ontario side, the newly revitalized The Spot Karting (formerly Karter’s Korner in Stittsville) offers a classic outdoor asphalt experience for the summer months.
