About Kartmania Cork
Kartmania Cork was an indoor rental-kart and family entertainment venue at GB Business Park in Little Island, but it is permanently closed. Historical operator and directory material describes timed racing, adult and cadet karts, lap timing, group events and a separate electric junior track for younger children. This record is retained as a closure page so visitors do not travel to the old address or confuse it with the active National Kart Centre Cork at Marina Commercial Park.
Detailed guide
Kartmania Cork is permanently closed
Kartmania Cork no longer operates at Unit 3, GB Business Park in Little Island. The directory keeps this page published and clearly marked closed to preserve useful search history and prevent the former venue from being presented as a current booking option.
Archived sources disagree on whether the later main layout was 250 or 350 metres, so neither figure should be used to plan a current visit. There is no active Kartmania booking route attached to this record.
What the former venue offered
- Indoor racing: the main attraction was a weather-independent rental-kart circuit for public and organised sessions.
- Timed results: drivers received lap timing and finishing-position information after racing.
- Group formats: historical products included Grand Prix events, corporate outings, birthdays and stag or hen groups.
- Younger drivers: archived listings described a separate low-speed electric junior track for children aged four to seven.
A historical record, not a current Cork option
Kartmania's Little Island address is different from the active National Kart Centre Cork location at Marina Commercial Park on Centre Park Road. The two records should not be merged or treated as a simple same-site rename.
If you are looking for karting now
- Do not travel here: GB Business Park is retained only as the former Kartmania location.
- Do not book through old sources: historical phone numbers, social posts and offer pages may still appear in search results.
- Use a current venue: consult the directory's active Cork listings, including National Kart Centre Cork, and verify availability with the operator.
- Keep the distinction: reviews and photos for Kartmania describe the closed Little Island venue, not today's separate Marina Commercial Park circuit.
