Midland Karting FAQs

What are the age and height limits?

- Karting: Strictly a 4ft 8in (142cm) minimum height requirement for all drivers. - Paintball: Minimum age is 15 years old.

Is it open every day?

- Mid-Week: Typically open Tuesday to Friday (10 AM – 8 PM). - Weekends: Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays (2 PM – 8 PM). Note: Private testing for those with their own karts is usually restricted to Sunday mornings (10 AM – 2 PM).

Do I need to book?

Highly Recommended. Especially for Paintball (minimum group of 10) and Grand Prix karting events (minimum group of 16-20). Arrive-and-drive is available for individuals, but calling ahead is the only way to ensure the track isn't booked for a private event.

How do I find it?

It is located on the main N55 road (the Granard/Cavan road). If using a Sat Nav, look for Cranalagh More, Edgeworthstown.

What should I wear?

For karting, all suits and helmets are provided. For paintball, wear sturdy boots and old clothes you don't mind getting muddy—the forest arena is "authentic!"
