The 2026 Top Half Series returns to action at KartSport Hamilton on 10–11 October, with the championship entering the second half of its four-round programme.

The official series page confirms Hamilton as round three and Auckland as the final stop on 7–8 November. It also sets out the central sporting challenge: all points count, with no dropped races.

Consistency matters as much as a single win

Each round comprises four races with predetermined grids and a final. That makes the whole weekend important; one strong finish cannot erase the consequences of a difficult earlier race.

Velocity News' review of the August Bay of Plenty meeting described close contests across the classes, including a one-point gap between Jason Lee and Ryan Crombie in the DD2 round result. It supplies background to the Hamilton meeting, rather than a claim about a newly updated points table.

The official programme includes Cadet ROK, Vortex Mini ROK, Rotax classes and KZ2. Competitors should use the round-specific supplementary information for the final timetable and entry requirements, including availability for individual-round entries.

For spectators, Hamilton offers the chance to follow several different categories through a weekend in which every race contributes to the season. For teams, the practical task is to arrive prepared for the complete programme, with Auckland still to come.
