About Gravity Max Wandsworth
Gravity MAX Wandsworth is not your typical grease-and-tyres kart track. Located inside the Southside Shopping Centre, this is a "gamified" racing experience designed for the modern era. The track is themed around a Japanese Street Circuit, featuring neon signage, tight corners, and a multi-level layout that feels more like a video game than a traditional circuit. It uses high-performance electric karts that offer instant torque, making it incredibly responsive and accessible for drivers who might find petrol karts too intimidating.

Detailed guide
The Track Layout
- Theme: The circuit is heavily stylized with neon lights and urban decor to mimic drifting through Tokyo at night.
- Design: It is a compact, technical track that spans multiple levels. While shorter than some industrial circuits (approx. 200m), it packs a lot of action into a small space with banked corners and downhill sections.
- Surface: High-grip resin designed specifically for electric karts.
The Karts & Modes
- Family Mode: The karts are speed-limited to ensure safety for mixed groups of adults and children (Ages 8+). Perfect for beginners.
- Pro Mode (12+): This is where the real fun begins. The speed limiters are taken off, and the karts' "Boost Button" is activated. This gives you a temporary burst of extra power (like a KERS system in F1) to help you overtake on the straights.
- Dual Karts: They offer 2-seater karts so a parent can drive a younger child (aged 4+) around the track.
Facilities
- The "MAX" Complex: Karting is just one part of this massive entertainment hub. The venue also features AR Bowling, Digital Darts, Hologate VR, and Immersive Gamebox.
- Food & Drink: A full "Gravity Social" bar and food hall is on-site, serving cocktails, burgers, and pizzas. It is designed as a full night-out destination.
