About March Hare Leisure
March Hare Leisure is a family-run activity centre located in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, just off the M5 (Junction 6). While many kart tracks are situated on gritty industrial estates, this one sits on farmland, offering a scenic backdrop for your race. The venue specializes in "exclusive" events—meaning you rarely mix with strangers. If you book a Grand Prix, it's usually just your group on the track. The circuit itself is short but features a signature "swooping downhill" section that catches out over-confident drivers. It is the definitive "Stag Do" destination for the West Midlands.

Detailed guide
The Racing Experience
- The Track: At ~210m, it is compact. However, it is built on a gradient, featuring a challenging downhill run and adverse cambers.
- Driving Tip: Because the lap is so short (18s), consistency is everything. One mistake ruins 3 laps. It is about rhythm rather than raw speed.
- The Karts:
- Fleet: They use Biz Evo 3 (Honda GX200) petrol karts. These are the industry standard for outdoor reliability. Top speed is capped around 35-40mph, which feels very fast on such a tight track.
- Grid Size: They typically run small grids (4-6 karts) to prevent chaos on the short circuit. This ensures clean racing rather than a bumper-car fest.
The "Country Sports" Extras
- The Package: Most groups opt for a "Karting + Shooting" combo, often finished with a BBQ on the decking overlooking the stream.
- Shooting: The venue is equally famous for its shooting ranges. You can book packages that include Clay Pigeon Shooting (12 bore), Rifles, and even Practical Shotgun experiences.
