Two electric circuits in Reading
TeamSport Reading has a 450-metre, ten-corner multi-level main circuit and a separate 250-metre, nine-corner starter track. Both use electric karts, with the starter track running at a lower pace for introductory products and Combat Karts.
The two layouts support different experiences, so the selected product—not simply the venue name—determines the circuit, kart speed, format and driver rules.
Driver rules and race formats
- Junior access: karting starts from age eight with a minimum 25-inch inside-leg measurement and safe fit in the cadet kart.
- Adult kart: drivers start from age 13 with a published 29-inch minimum inside-leg measurement.
- Starter experiences: Rookie Race products use the 250m circuit with controlled kart speeds.
- Main-track racing: Ultimate Race and eligible group formats use the 450m circuit; Grand Prix racing starts from age 16 and has a minimum group size.
Arrival, equipment and spectating
Drivers should arrive 40 minutes before their drive time for check-in, racewear and briefing. TeamSport supplies the race suit, gloves and helmet; drivers need a balaclava and fully enclosed shoes, and long hair must be secured.
