Editorial summary
AR Kartz is quietly revolutionizing the UK’s indoor motorsport scene from a modern industrial park in West Sussex. Created by Richard Austin—the mind behind Austin Racing, a globally renowned manufacturer of high-performance motorcycle exhausts—this venue completely throws out the standard karting playbook. Instead of buying off-the-shelf rental karts, the elite engineering team built a world-first fleet of custom electric karts and constructed a highly technical circuit on a massive mezzanine directly above their active factory floor. Opened in 2025, AR Kartz combines cutting-edge engineering with an immersive, sensory-driven atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination for serious motorsport enthusiasts and thrill-seekers alike.
