It runs competitive Grand Prix formats and offers a raw, grippy racing experience that indoor tracks struggle to match. Just 15 minutes away in Ballymoney, KartSport offers the region's main indoor alternative. Situated in the Ballybrakes Business Park, this centre is arguably the most family-oriented track in the country. It features a 240m indoor race arena and runs a diverse fleet: 200cc petrol karts for adults (12+), 120cc karts for juniors (8-12), and electric "Mini F1" karts for children as young as 4. It is an ideal rainy-day option for families visiting the Giant's Causeway. Further inland in Mid-Ulster, Railway Karting (Moneymore/Magherafelt) provides a solid outdoor option. This venue caters heavily to stag parties and corporate groups, offering a fleet of 270cc karts on a track that mixes fast straights with technical hairpins. Important Update: Derry/Londonderry Residents of Derry City should be aware that Campsie Karting Centre (Eglinton) has permanently closed. The nearest tracks for Derry residents are now K-Team (approx. 40 mins) or the tracks in Donegal (Letterkenny).
