Driver notes
Preferred overtaking spots
Overtaking is easiest into Christmas. Ashby presents a chance and so does the boot, but you gotta be brave on the brakes and have a good run.
Kart review:
The kart used here are Club 100 2 Stroke Rotax Max. These Karts are technically rental karts, but don’t let that fool you, these are some of the best Karts available for mere mortals to drive. The power is one thing, the cornering and braking though is where these karts come into their own. Not every Kart is the same, some are better than others, but when you get that better one and it does everything you want it to merely by thought, you are truly experiencing one of the great Karting moments!
Value for money:
BUKC was and I believe still is better value than Club100. The Club 100 racing I do these days costs £260 a go, and thats after paying the £15 deposit! BUKC is more like £160. So if you're heading off to University soon and want to get your adrenaline filled fix of racing, still probably best to ask your Dad to help you out paying for it!

The Whilton Mill International Wet Track Guide highlights overtaking opportunities at key points such as Christmas Corner, Ashby, and the Boot complex. Rich Tea Racing emphasises that bravery on the brakes and setting up a strong run are essential for successful overtakes in the wet.
Throughout the Whilton Mill International Wet Track Guide, Rich Tea Racing navigates the Club100 2-stroke Rotax Max karts—renowned as some of the best rental karts available. These machines excel not only in power but also in their superb cornering and braking abilities. While kart variability is a factor, finding one that responds perfectly to your inputs creates one of karting’s most memorable experiences. The video also touches on value for money, noting that while Club100 offers a premium experience at around £260 per event, the BUKC remains a more budget-friendly option at about £160, ideal for students looking to get their adrenaline fix.
