About Midway Speedway
Midway Speedway Park has been a staple of the Delaware shore vacation experience for decades. Centrally located on the "Mile of Style" (Coastal Highway), it serves as the region's largest comprehensive fun park. The venue is unique because it combines high-octane racing on five distinct go-kart tracks with the cooling thrills of White Water Mountain, a full-scale water park located directly behind the speedway. The Karting Experience
- The Tracks: Midway features 5 distinct tracks, ensuring there is a speed for every age.
- Super 8 Track: The fastest and most popular track, featuring a bridge and underpass for a "pro" feel.
- Family Track: A classic flat track that allows for double-seater karts.
- Slick Track: A polished surface designed for drifting and sliding around corners.
- Kiddie & Mini Indy: Dedicated tracks for the youngest drivers (ages 4-7) to drive safely away from adults.
White Water Mountain (Water Park)
- The Layout: Located behind the tracks, this water park features multiple large body flumes, a speed slide, a lazy river for relaxing, and a large activity pool.
- Policies: Proper swimwear is mandatory (no rivets or zippers). Life jackets are provided free of charge for weaker swimmers.
Fire Mountain Golf
- The Course: An 18-hole championship-style mini-golf course themed around a volcano. It is one of the more scenic courses on the strip and is open late, making it a popular "after-dinner" activity.
