Start your engines at the most thrilling tracks in Montana.

In Montana, go-karting is a rare find often tucked away within larger adventure resorts or waterparks. The options range from exclusive, high-speed racing on a private ranch to casual family fun near Glacier National Park. Because of the harsh winters, most karting activity is strictly seasonal, operating from late spring through early autumn.

For a truly unique and premium experience, The Resort at Paws Up in Greenough offers one of the most scenic tracks in the West. This luxury ranch features a half-mile outdoor aggregate track carved into the landscape. It runs off-road style karts that are wide enough for an adult and child to ride together, testing reflexes on a surface that mixes dirt and gravel characteristics. Note that this is a resort activity with pricing significantly higher than a standard rental track. For families visiting the Whitefish/Columbia Falls area, Big Sky Waterpark is the primary destination. Alongside its water slides, the park features Krazy Kars, which offer a classic amusement-style driving experience perfect for cooling off after a day of hiking. Serious Racing: For residents who own their own competition karts, the Montana Karting Association in Helena is the hub for the sport. They operate a paved sprint track near the airport, hosting races for classes ranging from 50cc Kid Karts to 125cc Shifters. This is a club facility, not a daily rental center. Important Closure Update:
  • The Hub Family Entertainment Center (Missoula): This facility, which previously offered indoor go-karts, has permanently closed.
  • Full Circle Indoor Kart Racing (Bozeman): This track is no longer operational as a primary commercial rental facility.
