About Nepean Raceway

Nepean Raceway is the physical karting venue associated with NSW Speedway Kart Club. NSW Speedway Kart Club is a current outdoor speedway-kart organisation racing at Nepean Raceway within the Nepean Motorsport Complex, 112 Rickards Road, Castlereagh. The club’s official site publishes an active 2026 championship calendar and describes family-oriented speedway competition with children able to compete from age seven. Karting NSW also lists current 2026 meetings at the same address. This corrected identity replaces the directory’s generic “Nepean Speedway Kart Track” label and avoids confusing the club with public rental karting. Kart Directory booking is disabled and no external checkout URL is stored.

Detailed guide

Verified club and circuit profile

Current speedway-kart club: official club and Karting NSW sources support active 2026 racing at Nepean Raceway and identify the organisation as NSW Speedway Kart Club.

  • The club races at Nepean Motorsport Complex, 112 Rickards Road, Castlereagh.
  • The directory identity is corrected to NSW Speedway Kart Club at Nepean Raceway.
  • The official site publishes a current 2026 championship calendar.
  • The club describes family-oriented speedway karting with competition from age seven.
  • This is organised owner-driver competition rather than arrive-and-drive rental karting.

Competition rather than public hire

This is an outdoor owner-driver competition venue. Drivers normally provide an eligible kart and safety equipment and meet the relevant club, licence, sign-on, scrutineering and event rules. A promoted come-and-try or KartSTART day is a controlled introductory event; it does not mean that walk-in rental karts are routinely available.

Before driving

Check the current governing-body rules, membership and licence pathway before buying equipment or travelling. Practice and race meetings may use different circuit directions, configurations or classes. The club, permit documents and officials determine the live requirements, and those instructions take priority over this directory summary.

Calendar and access

Meetings are calendar based and outdoor speedway activity is weather sensitive. Confirm the current club round, entry conditions and gate times before travel. Competition venues can close for track preparation, maintenance, working bees, private practice, weather or another motorsport event. Do not assume that an unlocked gate means the circuit is available for unscheduled use.

Visiting as a spectator or newcomer

Review the event timetable and venue instructions for gate times, parking, pit access, clothing and spectator areas. Contact the club about volunteering, officiating, membership or its next sanctioned introductory day. Never enter the circuit, grid or paddock without permission from the responsible official.

Booking position

Kart Directory booking is disabled and no external checkout URL is stored. These profiles do not display a Book Now button. Any membership, licence, practice sign-on or event-entry process is administered independently by the club and its governing body.

Source and review note

Current status and details were checked against https://www.nswskc.com/ and supporting official 2026 club or governing-body material. Stale specifications and source conflicts are disclosed rather than silently blended into one claim.
