It takes a few laps to get used to. If you just floor the accelerator and turn, you will spin out (do a "doughnut"). The trick is to be smooth with your steering and throttle. Staff will give you a briefing on how to control the slide.
Drivers must be 8 years or older and at least 130cm tall.
Note: Height is the most important factor to reach the pedals.
Yes. It is a popular spot for locals and tourists, especially on weekends or rainy days.
Invercargill can be chilly! While it is indoors and out of the rain, the warehouse is large and unheated. If you are visiting in winter, wear a warm layer under your race suit.
