Kansas City Karting Association Guide
About Kansas City Karting Association
Kansas City Karting Association is an owner-driver club based at its outdoor Liberty track and also schedules selected events at Garnett. The current 2026 programme includes Kid Kart and older classes, race meetings and member practice. Membership is required for open practice, but the published race fees also include non-member entry, correcting the former blanket membership claim. No public rental fleet, catering claim or directory booking is shown.

Owner-driver karting near Kansas City
Kansas City Karting Association is a club for competitors who bring a rules-compliant kart. Its home track is at 1090 State Highway B in Liberty, Missouri, while the 2026 calendar also includes selected Garnett events. This is not an Arrive & Drive rental attraction.
Membership and access
- Open practice: the current information page states that only KCKA members may practise.
- Race entry: membership is not an absolute requirement for every race because the operator publishes both member and non-member entry fees.
- Calendar: competitors should check the 2026 schedule, supplementary notices and venue because Liberty and Garnett arrangements differ.
- Liberty closure: the club says the Liberty track is closed on the third Friday and Saturday of each month.
Classes and preparation
- Junior route: current procedures include Kid Karts and age- or engine-specific junior categories.
- Rules: the 2026 KCKA rulebook and the technical rules for the entered class govern eligibility, equipment and scrutineering.
- No hire fleet: drivers need their own kart and safety equipment unless a particular organiser states otherwise.
- No assumed catering: the current club site does not support the former directory catering attribute, so it has been removed.
