About The Edge Karting
Located on South Belt West in Belleville—just a short drive from St. Louis—The Edge is one of the Midwest's largest and most comprehensive family entertainment centers. Shunning the standard flat concrete oval, this sprawling 85,000-square-foot mega-plex features a cutting-edge, multi-level indoor electric kart track complete with dramatic elevation changes and banked turns. But the real draw is the interactive "Power-Up Racing" system, turning the physical track into a real-life video game. Paired with the world's largest laser tag arena, five movie theaters (including dine-in bistros), VR experiences, and an in-house pub, it is the ultimate climate-controlled destination for epic birthday parties and high-energy family outings in Southern Illinois.

The Racing Experience
- The Track: A dynamic, multi-level indoor circuit that completely breaks the mold. It features challenging elevation changes and banked turns, but the standout feature is the interactive floor projections that trigger the gamified Power-Up system.
- The Karts: A modern fleet of all-electric karts delivering instant torque, zero exhaust fumes, and integrated gaming features.
- Single Drivers (10+ & 52"): Solo racers use the agile electric chassis to battle for coins, activate turbo boosts, and unleash digital hazards on their friends.
- Double-Seat Karts: Perfect for young families. An adult takes the wheel and pedals, allowing a younger child (5+) to safely experience the thrilling elevation changes from the passenger seat.
The Facilities & Extra Attractions
- World's Largest Laser Tag: Swap the steering wheel for a phaser. The venue houses a staggering 14,000-square-foot, multi-story laser tag arena capable of hosting massive 60-player battles.
- Dine-In Movie Theaters: The Edge uniquely features five full-scale movie theaters on-site. The premium Bistro Theaters offer luxury recliners and full in-seat food and beverage service.
- Arcade, VR & Dining: Keep the competition going with a 70-game arcade, Spin Zone bumper cars, and cutting-edge virtual reality simulators. When you're done, refuel at their family-friendly sports pub serving everything from loaded pizzas to adult beverages.
