About KartSport Auckland–Mt Wellington
KartSport Auckland–Mt Wellington is an owner-driver club at the new 1,270-metre Sir Colin Giltrap Raceway in Colin Dale Park, Wiri, following KartSport Auckland’s December 2025 move and its March 2026 amalgamation with KartSport Mt Wellington. The clockwise outdoor track hosts scheduled club racing and member practice, while periodic Pathway to Karting days provide a real competition kart, safety kit, coaching and three sessions for age-grouped participants from six upward. This is not an everyday rental-kart attraction, and Kart Directory exposes no booking button or external registration checkout.

Auckland’s relocated and amalgamated kart club
KartSport Auckland–Mt Wellington now operates from Sir Colin Giltrap Raceway at Colin Dale Park in Wiri. KartSport Auckland left Rosebank in December 2025 and formally amalgamated with KartSport Mt Wellington on 18 March 2026.

- Length: the new outdoor circuit measures 1,270 metres.
- Direction: racing runs clockwise.
- Facilities: the club highlights a large pit area, good parking and spectator areas.
- Performance: some competition classes can exceed 100km/h.
Practice and club racing
- Owner-driver focus: routine access is for compliant competition karts rather than a public hire fleet.
- Practice: members register for available practice days and check closure notices first.
- Race days: allocated Sundays and larger events follow the published 2026 calendar.
- Governance: KartSport New Zealand rules and safety requirements apply.
Pathway to Karting
- Age groups: listed karts cover Cadet ROK ages six to ten, Vortex Mini ROK ages nine to 13 and Rotax Max ages 14 and over.
- Included: the programme supplies a club race kart, helmet, race suit, gloves and safety briefing.
- Track time: participants receive three coached sessions of approximately eight to ten minutes.
- No directory booking: club registration remains off-site; this listing has no booking CTA or external checkout.
