Can I rent a go-kart here today?

No. KartSport Auckland-Mt Wellington is a competition club, not an everyday hire-kart venue. Newcomers can register interest in a scheduled Pathway to Karting day with supplied equipment and club guidance; availability must be confirmed with the club.

Where exactly is the track?

The club races at Sir Colin Giltrap Raceway in Colin Dale Park on Prices Road, Wiri, Auckland 2025. It moved from Avondale in December 2025, so the former Patiki Road address should not be used for a current visit.

What is the minimum age to join?

Children can start racing in the Cadet ROK class from 6 years old.

How do I get a license?

You need to join the club and apply for a KartSport New Zealand license. The best first step is to visit the track on a race day and talk to the committee members in the clubrooms.

Is the track open for practice?

Only for Club Members with a license and a practice key. Members can access the track for testing on most days (excluding race days and reserved events).
