A bit about Buckmore Park
Buckmore Park Kart Circuit, a renowned name in British karting, has a rich history and an impressive present. It was born in the early 1960s with a modest 400m circuit used for the Scouts. However, by the 1980s, the track had fallen into disrepair. The 1990s marked a significant turnaround with extensive restoration, leading to the first incarnation of Buckmore Park that is recognisable to today’s racers.

Review
The Buckmore Park Track Guide focuses on mastering the descent into Paddock, where smooth driving is key to maintaining control and achieving fast lap times. Viewers can see firsthand how top drivers make the most of this challenging downhill section, while others struggle with oversteer and inconsistent lines.
Throughout the Buckmore Park Track Guide, viewers also learn about the venue’s rich history. Originally a 400m track for Scouts in the 1960s, Buckmore Park fell into disrepair before being revitalised in the 1990s. Its modern renaissance began with its acquisition by racing legend John Surtees CBE in 2015, with his legacy carried on today by Leonora Martell-Surtees. The circuit now boasts a 1,000m international layout and a fleet of Sodi RT10 karts capable of impressive speeds, especially down the hill into Paddock.
