Go Time – On Track Karting FAQs

What are the current Go Time kart requirements?

Junior drivers need to be at least 48 inches tall; adult drivers must be 16 or over and at least 60 inches. The published 225lb and 300lb figures are seat-fit guidelines.

How do ordinary Go Time heats work?

Heats provide more than seven minutes on track, carry up to 12 drivers and rank the field by each driver’s fastest lap rather than finishing position.

How fast are the three kart levels?

Junior karts reach about 25mph, adult karts about 35mph and membership-based Pro karts about 40mph.

Is safety equipment provided?

Yes. Go Time supplies a head sock, helmet and neck brace. Drivers need secure, closed-toe footwear.

Can under-18s race without a parent present?

A parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver for every driver under 18; the operator provides an online registration route.

Does Go Time offer coaching or competition?

Yes. It promotes general and personalised instruction, junior summer camps, Pro Club access and race leagues.
