About Mountain Highway Raceway
Mountain Highway Raceway is the outdoor home of the non-profit Puget Sound Go Kart Association at 24715 Mountain Highway East in Spanaway, Washington. Founded in 1959, PSGKA runs year-round owner-driver practice, club races, time attacks and regional or vintage events for more than 100 member families. The club explicitly does not offer on-site kart rentals, so visitors must bring their own kart and follow membership and practice rules.

PSGKA owner-driver karting
Mountain Highway Raceway is operated by the Puget Sound Go Kart Association, a member-run non-profit founded in 1959. This is an outdoor club circuit for kart owners, not a public arrive-and-drive attraction.
Who can drive
- Bring a kart: PSGKA explicitly says there are no on-site kart rentals.
- Membership: drivers need a current annual membership or an eligible one-day membership and practice pass.
- No solo practice: another person must be present to observe and contact help in an emergency.
- Classes: the programme ranges from Kid Kart and Briggs 206 to 100cc, TaG, shifter and vintage categories.
2026 programme
- Club races: the calendar contains eight numbered PSGKA races from March to October.
- Time attacks: five scheduled events add competition outside the race series.
- Major visits: the NWKA Super Cup and Vintage Days appear on the 2026 calendar.
- Practice: year-round access follows the club rules, event closures and published track hours.
