Outdoor public and competition karting
Innisfil Indy Karting operates outdoor public, rental-racing and owner-driver circuits in Gilford. Its main public track combines bends, hills and longer straights, while the club and faster kart programme use separate layouts and schedules.
Public kart choices
- Standard karts: public single karts are advertised up to 45km/h.
- Eligibility: solo public drivers must be at least nine years old and 52in tall.
- Double karts: an adult drives with a child passenger aged four to eight, subject to fit and staff approval.
- Walk-ins: ordinary public karting does not require a reservation unless the group has ten or more people.
Faster karts and preparation
- Grand Prix rentals: the faster fleet is advertised around 75km/h and normally needs 24–48 hours notice.
- Clothing: public drivers need running shoes; faster-kart drivers also need a jacket and long trousers with no exposed skin.
- Waivers: standard public karting does not use the racing waiver, but the faster product does.
- Equipment: helmets and hairnets are supplied for the faster sessions, but racing suits are not.
Season, hours and events
- Public hours: from June 29, 2026 the published schedule is 11:00–20:00 weekdays, 11:00–21:00 Saturday and 12:00–19:00 Sunday.
- Race interruptions: Sunday public opening may start later when a race event occupies the circuit.
- Owner drivers: practice and club activity normally run from May to October on their own timetable.
- Groups: birthdays and corporate events can arrange private track time, food and a party area directly with the venue.
