About Extreme Indoor Kart Racing
Extreme Indoor Kart Racing in Clio runs gas-powered Sodi karts on a quarter-mile indoor track. Adult RX8 karts start at age 16, junior Fun Kid karts require ages 8-15 and at least 50 inches, and a two-seat kart lets passengers aged three+ or disabled guests ride with a driver aged 16+. First-come public racing, group formats, an arcade and concessions support the visit. Current rules, hours and contact are now complete; booking remains disabled.

Quarter-mile indoor gas karting
Extreme Indoor Kart Racing, often shortened to EIKR, uses Honda-powered Sodi karts on a quarter-mile Clio course with sweepers, hairpins and straights. The fleet is split by age and access needs rather than presented as one universal kart.
Three kart routes
- Adult Sodi RX8: age 16+ with ID; marketed up to 40mph.
- Junior Sodi Fun Kid: ages 8-15 and minimum 50 inches; marketed up to 20mph.
- Sodi 2Drive: passengers aged three+ or disabled guests may ride with a driver aged 16+. Staff control whether the passenger steering wheel is active.
- Special formats: Grand Prix and Iron Man sessions require at least eight people and a reservation.
Safety and arrival
- Public racing: normally first-come, first-served; groups of eight+ should arrange an event.
- Every visit: driver and passenger waivers are required; a legal guardian signs for a minor.
- Clothing: flat closed-toe shoes, secured hair and no loose clothing.
- Helmet: a full-face DOT-approved helmet and hygienic liner are required; venue helmets are available and personal helmets need staff approval.
- Conduct: no deliberate contact, impaired driving or leaving a stopped kart without instruction.
Hours and wider venue
- Typical hours: Mon closed; Tue 2pm-8pm; Wed-Thu noon-8pm; Fri-Sat noon-9pm; Sun 1pm-8pm. Holidays, private events and special races can change access.
- Off track: arcade and prize games, Skee Ball, billiards, air hockey, basketball games, event room, snacks and drinks.
