The Racing Experience
- The Track: A massive 900-foot indoor circuit that spans two levels. The bi-level design means drivers must navigate uphill ramps, downhill braking zones, and technical sweeping corners, making it significantly more intense than a standard flat track.
- The Karts: Fastimes operates a tiered fleet of gas-powered karts:
- Adult Karts (Licensed Drivers): Unrestricted 9hp Honda engines capable of exceeding 40 mph. You sit just two inches off the ground, making the sensation of speed incredible.
- Teen Karts (Ages 13+ & 57" tall): Intermediate karts tuned to hit 30 to 35 mph.
- Junior Karts (Min. 53" tall): Governed to a safe but thrilling 25 to 30 mph. (Note: Junior karts do not run on Saturday nights after 8:00 PM).
- Two-Seaters: Available for parents wanting to drive younger children around the track (passengers must be at least 44 inches tall).
The Facilities & Extra Attractions
- Nearby Entertainment: If you want to make a full day of it, Fastimes is located right next door to Woodland Bowl, a massive entertainment complex offering 70 bowling lanes, laser tag, and indoor mini-golf.
- The Vibe: The facility has a classic sports bar and racing garage feel. It features a deli, a fully licensed bar, pool tables, and shuffleboard to keep you entertained between heats.
- The Gear: Fastimes provides racing suits (optional but recommended), neck braces, and helmets. A cloth balaclava is strictly required under the rental helmets—you can bring your own or buy one at the front desk for $2.
