Indoor electric karting in Fishers
K1 Speed Indianapolis has operated since 2013 on a professionally designed indoor course with a particularly long straight and a technical sequence of turns. Its electric format is paired with an arcade, Paddock Lounge and event space rather than a separate outdoor circuit.
Driver eligibility
- Junior karts: minimum height 48 inches.
- Adult karts: minimum height 58 inches.
- No mixed fleets: junior and adult karts run in separate races.
- Management approval: drivers are measured on site and must be able to operate every control safely.
- Friday/Saturday: junior racing ends at 8pm.
How public racing works
- Arrive & Drive: heats are ranked by fastest lap and are normally first-come, first-served.
- Online purchase: buying a race from K1 is prepayment rather than a specific-time reservation.
- Groups: the reservation route begins at eight racers.
- Licence and waiver: a current annual licence and signed waiver are required, with a parent or legal guardian signing for anyone under 18.
Hours and amenities
- Hours: Mon-Thu noon-10pm; Fri noon-midnight; Sat 10am-midnight; Sun 10am-10pm, subject to private-event closures.
